- Pulpy Kidney
- Black Disease
- Malignant Oedema (in sheep, goats and cattle)
Directions for use
Goats are very susceptible to enterotoxaemia and for this reason it is necessary to give a booster at 4 to 6 monthly intervals.
Vaccinate previously unvaccinated bulls twice at intervals of 4 weeks minimum. Thereafter annual booster doses are required. Vaccinate previously unvaccinated cows at joining and booster 2 to 3 weeks prior to calving. This will protect calves for the first 8 to 10 weeks. Thereafter annual boosters 2 to 3 weeks prior to calving are required. Vaccinate calves at 2 months of age and give a booster dose at 4 weeks minimum. Thereafter annual booster doses are required.
In high risk areas seasonal booster doses may be required. This applies particularly to enterotoxaemia and black disease prone areas.
Special Note: A period of two weeks is required after the sensitising dose before animals acquire a level of protection. Maximum protection is not achieved until the second dose is administered.

Which applicator should I use?
For Tasvax 5 in 1, our recommendation depends on the size of pack you use.
We recommend the use of bottle mount vaccinators if you are mostly using packs of 250ml or less. For cattle, use either the Ecomatic BMV (5ml), or the Masterline back bottle mount (6ml). For sheep and goats, use either the Ecomatic BMV (2ml), or the Masterline F-grip transformer.
If you are using 500ml packs, we suggest using a tube fed vaccinator. For cattle, use either the Ecomatic vaccinator (5ml), or the Masterline V-grip vaccinator (6ml). For sheep and goats, use either the Ecomatic Vaccinator (2ml), or the Masterline F-grip transformer.
