Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Could you please advise if Pestene is safe to use on a pregnant miniature horse mare?
A. After calling a rep from the manufacturer they advised me that Pestene is safe for pregnant miniature horses but its best to avoid getting the product on the mares teats, in case the new born ingests the product while feeding which may be harmful. It’s best to discontinue use a few days before birth and clean teat area to be sure.
